Q: Tell us the story behind starting Carnival Coffee Roasters?

“Our story began many moons ago when one of our founders, Juan's grandfather won a small piece of high mountain side on the outskirts of Medellin (which was ideal for growing coffee) in a very lucky game of Polka. Fast forward many years later we set up a small roastery workshop in our back garden and began to bring the family coffee to the UK to roast and share.

We are now based in a roastery/ coffee shop in South London serving the coffee we roast and running coffee workshops. We are an ethical, sustainable, speciality coffee roastery based in South East London. We deliver by cargo bike across South East London and post delightful coffee across the UK. We have a wonderful Carnival subscription club and awesome wholesale partners. Carnival Coffee Roasters is all about sharing a party of delightful flavours and roasting unique and rare coffees. We love to have fun and our branding shares the delightful and colourful stories of our coffee.”

Q: What were the major pain points of your process prior to using Fera?

“We were trying to solve the problem of people trusting us online to make their first purchase with us without being able to try the coffees. Fera has enabled us to capture lovely reviews from our existing customers to share their thoughts on our coffee.”

“It has enabled us to increase our conversion of web visitors to customers, also to check in with customers how their experience was as well as enabling us to reward them for their review with a discount.”
